Long time, no post.

WOW. I just noticed that I haven't written in my blog in over a month. What does that say to the world about me? Perhaps I am one of those lazy miscreants that can't maintain a blog? Although I'd like to think I've just been busy having a rockin' summer in New York!

Since there is a lot of miscellaneous crap in my head, I am just going to blurt out some random thoughts. Like to read em, here they go.

This years Emmys was the best time I've had watching an awards show this year since I got high and watched the Tony's. The best part? The Aaron Spelling tribute, of course, complete with a reunion of the original Charlie's Angels. When I was a kid and first saw Jaclyn Smith, I thought she was one of the most beautiful women I had ever seen. I still stand by that.

The Flava of Love 2 is one of the funniest shows on television. I've seen crackheads on the NYC subways that are not even remotely as crazy as the Flav. Gotta love him.

High Fidelity is coming to town as a Broadway musical. WTF?

My little nephews, Benen and Colin, RULE!

If you live in or around NYC, go check out the Dada exhibit at the MOMA post haste. That is, unless you're not into urinals and bicycle wheels. I dug it though. If you go, get the audio tour.

I'm kind of obsessed with Julie Atlas Muz at the moment. That's her pictured above. I have yet to see her in a performance and hope to soon.

Mad respect to New Orleans for being strong and working hard to pull itself together. I know it's a long and extremely tough road. I hope to get out there sometime soon.

I gotta say, I am NOT looking forward to being here on the fifth anniversary of 9/11. Obviously, I know it was a horrible thing and I offer my sincere condolences to the victims and their families. Oh, and of course, mad props to the police and fire department personnel who ran back into the burning buildings and saved people (or at least tried). But I just have a bad feeling there are going to be some insanely obnoxious tributes and other musings coming from the media, not to mention the politicians.

That is all. I apologize for being away for so long and promise to be in touch more frequently.
